...K. has had nothing left untried, to confess his love to the beautiful S. If not her, than no other woman. The moment the beautiful S. marries his best friend G., for K. his inner and outer world collapses. Henceforth K. is suffering from constipation and is desperately trying to grasp his illness scientifically. He knows, only order in his mind can safe his life...

The works by Jörg Herold, all mark very specific turning points in german history.
Not historic datas one knows, but the exact same dates from a different point of view.
Joerg Herold is not only dealing with the main well-known datas from
german history, but within each of these focusing on facts rather off-key of the storyline. Possibly the facts and happenings one may forget easily, but which have been the trigger for the actual event.
The whole show by Jörg Herold presented at EIGEN+ART is entitled
"Der Datenschlüssel" which means "data-key" in english.
Herold´s works refer to his installation "Lighttrace With Dateborder"
which is to be found in the courtyard of the “Paul-Loebe-Haus”
(one of the new buildings of the German Government).
He was chosen by the  arts advisory committee of the German Bundestag for realizing this project.
All works on paper in the exhibition are reproduced in the catalogue
